2011Female foundedSome weekends look perfect on paper. She builds the ones that feel it.
The moment she realised something was missing
You know that feeling when the girls finally get away? Everyone has made the effort. The dates finally lined up. On paper it should all come together, and somehow it doesn’t quite land.
Nothing is technically wrong. You can just feel it slipping in small ways. The energy dips a little too early. The afternoon drifts while everyone works out what’s next. The table splits into side conversations. Everyone is smiling, everyone is grateful, and nobody is quite having the weekend you all talked about for months.
Nyree noticed that long before anyone was talking about it.

She’d watched it happen from the organiser’s side often enough to recognise the pattern. The friend who made it all happen, checking the time and quietly keeping things moving, a little outside the very weekend she put so much into.
It was never a disaster. It just never fully arrived. And once you see that, you can’t unsee it.
She wasn’t sitting there trying to come up with a business idea. If anything, she was noticing the things most people brush past. The way a weekend feels when you’re actually in it, not how it looks when it’s planned. The small moments where it either comes together or quietly drifts apart.
And she noticed it most in the woman who makes it happen.
Not because she isn’t good at it. Usually because she’s brilliant at it. You want it to be perfect for your girls. You want everyone to have the best time. And at the same time you’re the one watching the clock, answering the questions, making sure everyone is where they need to be. You’re in it, but not fully in it.
She could see how much that took away from the weekend.
And she could see what the whole group was missing. Never effort, because there was always effort. It was that feeling of being completely in the moment, when nobody is aware of anything except the people around them and how good it feels to be there.
It was never about doing more. It was about doing it properly.
By 2011, that way of thinking had turned into something real. Nyree founded My Ultimate.

How My Ultimate Girls Trip began
Year after year, the calls kept coming for something else. Some were birthdays. Plenty weren’t about any occasion at all. Just a group of women who wanted a weekend together, and wanted it done properly.
The friends from school. The ones from your first job. The mums’ group that turned into so much more. Friendships that have lived through every chapter and still haven’t had a weekend of their own.
So My Ultimate Girls Trip was built for them.
For every reason a group of women has to get away, and for every era of a friendship, from your twenties to your eighties. Because the girls who knew you before everything else arrived are still your girls.

There were already plenty of ways to organise a girls weekend. A hotel here, a booking there, a long list of links sitting in the group chat.
What mattered to Nyree was what actually makes a weekend work when you’re inside it. The way it moves. The way the energy builds. The way nothing pulls you out of the moment.
That’s where the shift happened.
We wouldn’t plan your girls trip. We’d be the girls trip.
It sounds simple when you say it like that. It changes everything about how a weekend is made.
So much has changed over the years, but what has not changed is the essence of it all: the laughter, the sparkle, the connection, and that iconic moment to stop and celebrate the friendships that raise and define us.

What sits underneath
She loves the fun side of it, and she’ll be the first to tell you. The getting ready that’s half the fun. The long lunch that turns into dinner. The moments that feel a little bit ridiculous in the best way.
But if that’s all it is, it never fully lands.
The weekends people remember are the ones with something real underneath. Where every woman at the table feels properly seen, and the group feels connected in a way that doesn’t happen often enough in everyday life.
That’s what she has built everything around, even if nobody is calling it that out loud.
Food.
Water.
Time with my girls.
A girls trip isn’t the prize for finally getting everything else done.
It’s part of life. That’s the whole idea My Ultimate Girls Trip is built on.

Still the one who notices when something feels slightly off. Still the one who understands that the difference between a good weekend and the one your girls talk about for years usually comes down to something small that was either handled or missed.
There’s a story the team still laughs about. Nyree was setting up a yacht in heels, filming content with grazing platters in hand, when she missed her footing and ended up in the water. Within hours everything was reset and perfect again, before the group arrived.
It’s funny now. It also says everything about her standard.
Nothing about the experience changes just because something went wrong behind the scenes.
Nobody asked them to name her
“Thankyou again and a special thanks to Nyree for ensuring the pickup and drop off times worked for all of my friends and that we made it to all the wineries on the day, and for your bubbly personality always making me smile in the leadup too.”

What she built over time
What started as one person paying close attention to how these weekends actually feel has grown into something much bigger than her.
Not in a corporate way, and not in a way that lost the original intent. That same level of care is now built into everything: the way the weekends are designed, the way the team thinks, the way each moment is handled so it lands the way it’s supposed to.
People trust it because they can feel it.
Not because someone told them it would work. Because when they’re in it, nobody has to question anything. The weekend holds together, the energy stays where it should, and the woman who made it happen isn’t quietly fixing things in the background.
And the messages that come in afterwards have a pattern to them. They usually sound a little surprised.

Somehow the weekend felt full and lazy at the same time.
I mean that as a massive compliment.

Normally on trips I'm the person carrying around all the booking confirmations and announcing when we need to leave.
This time I got to be in the photos.
That probably says everything.
That’s what everything is built around.

There’s a part of this brand that sits quietly behind every girls trip, and it matters just as much as the weekend itself.
My Ultimate has always believed that how something feels reaches beyond the moment you’re in. It isn’t only about a beautiful weekend for your girls. It’s knowing the same care is reaching women who need it in a very different way.
That’s why we’re a proud major corporate sponsor of Share the Dignity, the Australian charity providing period products, education and advocacy for women and girls experiencing homelessness, escaping domestic violence or doing it tough. Dignity should never be something anyone has to go without.
Nyree has always been clear on this. Celebration and care aren’t separate things. They can sit together, and when they do, they both mean more.
Every trip we plan helps us keep supporting them. It’s not something we turn into a moment, but it’s always there. And once you know that, it becomes part of how the whole weekend feels.

Where the girls are going
Every My Ultimate Girls Trip package is a complete girls weekend with somewhere to stay, priced per person. Pick a city to see them all.

It’s a weekend designed properly from the beginning, so when you’re in it, everything holds together in a way that feels natural and exactly right. The timing, the movement, the way one moment leads into the next without anyone having to think about it. All of that has been considered long before you arrive.
That’s why it feels different.
Most girls weekends are pieced together, even when they look good in the group chat. A booking here, a table there, something planned for later. It works, to a point. Then the weekend starts and the small gaps begin to show. Waiting around. Working out what’s next. Trying to keep the energy up when it dips.
A girls trip is more than a few good bookings sitting next to each other.
Everything you experience has been designed to carry the weekend forward, from the first drink to the last laugh on the way home. So the long lunch gets to become the long lunch. And the moments that matter to your girls aren’t left to chance.
At some point one of the girls looks across the table at you in that way that says you got it right. And you’re right there with them. Not managing anything. Just being part of it.
You got the girls there. You should get the trip too.

The thing I would recommend My Ultimate for is not one particular inclusion.
It was the overall thought behind the weekend.
Everything was close enough together, there was time to actually enjoy where we were and the weekend never felt like we were ticking items off an itinerary.
It felt easy, but clearly quite a lot of thought goes into making something feel easy.
Everyone kept saying I'd nailed it.
Obviously I told them it was all me.
Sorry My Ultimate.

The numbers, if you’re curious
They matter, in the sense that they show this isn’t a one-off, or something that works occasionally.
But they’re not the reason people choose it. What matters more is how the weekend feels when you’re in it, because that’s the part your girls will remember long after it’s over.
