Melbourne Apartments for the Whole Group
One home base, with room for all of you
- No getting ready in four different bathrooms across town
- No splitting up at the end of the night
There’s always one big living space for the lot of you to hang out in
For your favourite people, a weekend that feels completely like all of you.
One city. One weekend. Everyone under the same roof.
Know exactly what the girls would love? Come in.
Have absolutely no idea yet? Also come in.
Real girls. Real Melbourne. My Ultimate since 2011

The ending you’re after: “That was so us.” “When are we doing it again?”
You know that “we should do a girls weekend” conversation you’ve had at three birthdays in a row? Or the seventeen screenshots waiting in the group chat?
Don’t worry, we get it. Every group has its own idea of the perfect weekend, and we’ve got plenty of Melbourne adventures to choose from. Find the one that feels like your girls, and we’ll take care of the details.
See the Melbourne packagesPlenty of Melbourne will take a group booking. We’re very particular about what happens once you’re all there
So we sweat the in-between parts, and you get a weekend that just flows.

One home base, with room for all of you
There’s always one big living space for the lot of you to hang out in

The table
Not on our watch

Experiences run by people who get a group of friends
The girls are the point, not the interruption

Nothing quietly falls apart in between
It’s a no from us
Because a girls trip is more than a few good bookings sitting next to each other, or scrambling to find something to do once you’re there
The good bits should make each other better

But the magic is being still caught up in one moment when the next begins
The pace feels right. The girls stay with it. And you’re in the middle of it with them, instead of quietly making it all happen.
That rhythm is part of the package
“…The pace of the weekend was fantastic. We never felt rushed and we also never had those weird dead periods where eight people are standing around asking what to do next…”
Tanya B., 49
There is often one woman quietly running the girls trip
Counting heads. Checking the time. Remembering who’s gluten free and whose Uber is two minutes away. The group barely notices, because she’s good at it.
Which is exactly the problem. If you’re the capable one, your competence is the very thing most likely to turn you into staff on your own girls weekend.
We prefer you here

One of the girls
Not chasing the next booking. Not counting heads on the footpath. Not wondering whether the next place has the right name on the table.
“I am normally the spreadsheet person… On Saturday afternoon I realised I hadn’t looked at my spreadsheet since we arrived. Growth.”
Nicole, 37
Melbourne is the easy part to fall for. Getting everyone to the same laneway is another story
Of course you’ve saved half of Melbourne. A very saveable city
You know which bits the girls would love. We make them one weekend

Three stops, one group, and everyone heading home to the same place

This
Somebody laughing so hard she has to hold onto the table.
The school friends and the work friends, now sharing a dance floor and at least one secret.
Someone holding three pairs of shoes. Somebody carrying half a pizza.
And you, right in the middle of it, holding absolutely nothing

Girls understood
The people looking after you already know why you’re here. Nobody has to squeeze your weekend into somebody else’s format.
We shape the format, brief our venues and make room for the kind of weekend your girls actually love

A cocktail cruise? A long lunch that becomes dinner? Clay, cocktails and a surprisingly competitive friendship group? A bathhouse first, a rooftop later? Tarot cards and a second bottle of bubbly? Excellent.
Melbourne can do all of the above. The useful part is knowing which one should become your weekend

Bottomless brunch that runs long for all the right reasons. High tea with cocktails poured from teapots. A gnocchi masterclass where everyone swears hers came out best.

A cocktail cruise with the city skyline doing half the work. A winery day in the Yarra Valley where the only job is picking a favourite. Prosecco in pyjamas in an apartment nobody wants to leave.

A canvas everyone will absolutely pretend to hang. A clay bowl that’s either art or an ashtray, depending on who you ask. A terrarium that has to survive the trip home.

Axe throwing for the quietly competitive. Go karting with a qualifying lap and a main race. A pole class where everyone turns out to be surprisingly good, or surprisingly funny.

A waiter whose shirt never quite made it to the apartment. A life drawing class where the model is the only one not blushing. Cheeky enough for the group chat. Never so much that the group chat regrets it.

A bathhouse, a robe and nowhere to be until dinner. A skin session before drinks by the river. For the girls whose idea of a big weekend is finally being the ones looked after.
See the pamper and glow packages →Beauty, Bathhouse & Bubbles Weekend →

Tarot cards, candlelight and a second bottle of bubbly. Or a proper girls night in with grazing platters, mimosas and nobody being the first to call it a night.

The girls said it better
We could write an entire paragraph here about how much experience matters. Their messages are better.
Four organisers. Four very different versions of “please let me get this right”
The one who had been talking about it for years
Going in
“We are all busy and we all genuinely wanted to go away… The problem was every time we tried to plan it ourselves there were another twenty possible decisions.”
Afterwards
“This gave us a way to just choose something and GO.”
Tamara K.40
The one with six women to agree
Going in
“I genuinely thought the hardest part would be finding somewhere good.”
Afterwards
“…Much easier having the trip already have a shape.”
Alexandra Micallef35
The one who has organised plenty herself
Going in
“I have organised several group weekends myself over the years and I didn’t come to My Ultimate because I am incapable of making a reservation…”
Afterwards
“…I still felt completely in control of the decision, I just wasn’t making it blind.”
Karen54
The one who had already done the research
In her words
“…I had already done a lot of research and they didn’t dismiss any of it. Instead, they helped me understand which parts would work together and which combination suited our group best…”
Joanne V.54
And a few of the messages that came afterwards
“Everyone kept saying I’d nailed it. Obviously I told them it was all me…”
“My friends response when I sent the option through was literally ‘yep this is us’.”
“we FINALLY went…”
“Was nice not being the group mum for 3 days. That is all.”
And behind all of it, real people who are slightly obsessed with girls weekends

And we’ve been growing, evolving and slightly obsessed with getting the girls together ever since
“So much has changed over the years, but what has not changed is the essence of it all: the laughter, the sparkle, the connection, and that iconic moment to stop and celebrate the friendships that raise and define us.”
Nyree Founder, to news.com.au on My Ultimate’s 15th anniversary
Give the group something real to react to
The group chat has a difficult job. Everybody wants the girls trip. Everybody would like it to be brilliant. This does not mean everybody wants to take part in a 146-message discussion about it.
Another idea in the chat gets more ideas. A clear option gives everyone something to answer
You shouldn’t have to become the My Ultimate brochure. Give the girls something clear. Then let them decide.
The plan
What we’re doing When Where we’re staying What it costs per person
Suddenly the girls are reacting to a plan instead of trying to invent one collectively

01
Melbourne’s free tram zone is useful when the plan stays in the middle of the city. The difficulty starts when the lovely collection of ideas you saved lives in four completely different corners of Melbourne, and somebody has found a bar “only ten minutes away”.
Ten minutes for one person is not ten minutes for eight. That’s why most of our Melbourne weekends keep the good bits in the city and close to where you’re staying, so the night ends with everyone heading back to the same place.
02
Melbourne does girls weekends in pockets, and the best ones pick a pocket rather than trying to do them all.
The middle of the city is the easy default: rooftops, laneway bars, dinner and dance floors close enough to walk in good shoes. The riverfront is the waterfront version, with long lunches, cocktail cruises and drinks by the water. And the wine country out of town is its own thing: a slower day among the vines before dinner back in the city.
Choose the pocket that suits your girls, then let the weekend stay inside it.
03
Melbourne has weekends when half the country seems to visit at once: the Grand Prix, the footy finals, Cup week, the tennis in January and New Year’s Eve. They don’t make a girls weekend impossible. They do make apartments and good tables considerably more interesting.
If your dates land on one of those weekends, check what’s available before the whole group falls in love with one exact plan.
04
Choose the base around the weekend you’re actually having. Every one of our Melbourne packages includes your stay in a chic city apartment, so the base is already part of the plan rather than one more booking to chase.
However the rooms fall, there’s always one big living space where the whole group gathers. That’s where the getting ready, the grazing and the “one more before we go” happen, and it’s often the part everyone talks about afterwards.
05
Our Melbourne girls weekends are priced per person and run from $379 to $549. That covers somewhere to stay together, the main experience and the moments around it, like dinner, drinks or a grazing spread, depending on the package.
Accommodation is the one part that can move with your date. So the useful number is the live price on the package you’re actually looking at, for the weekend you actually want.
06
This is normal. Someone has an early start on Sunday. Someone doesn’t drink. Someone will enthusiastically attend the long lunch and would rather chew her own arm off than go to a nightclub.
A group doesn’t become difficult because everybody has a life. It just means the plan needs to reflect the people actually coming, so tell us early and we’ll point you to the packages that suit the group you’ve actually got.

Our Melbourne girls weekend packages are priced per person and run from $379 to $549. Every one includes an overnight stay together, the main experience and the moments around it. Accommodation pricing can move with your dates, so chat to one of our consultants about your weekend.
Each Melbourne package has its own listed inclusions. Every one includes an overnight stay in a city apartment, and depending on the package that sits alongside a class or experience, dining, drinks, a grazing spread or a night out. How one part runs into the next is part of the package design too. Check the individual package page for its current inclusions and price.
Melbourne’s girls weekend ideas run from a cocktail cruise, bottomless brunch and high tea to pottery, painting and terrarium workshops, a bathhouse and pamper weekend, a winery day, axe throwing, go karting or a pole class. For a cheekier group there’s a topless waiter, life drawing or a male revue. The best one is whichever sounds most like your girls. They’re sorted by vibe in Melbourne girls trip ideas above.
Yes. Every one of our Melbourne girls weekend packages includes an overnight stay in a city apartment. However the rooms fall, there’s always one big living space where the whole group gathers and gets ready together.
Most of our Melbourne packages start from six of you, and every package shows its own minimum. Fewer than that? Let us know how many of you there are when you get in touch. We cater for groups of many sizes and will help you find a package that suits yours.
Our Melbourne weekends mostly run in the city: your apartment, rooftops, laneway bars and the riverfront, all close enough to keep the group together. We also have options in the Yarra Valley. The right weekend depends on the kind of trip your girls want and how much moving around suits them.
Once you have a date, more notice means more choice, particularly for apartments and on the big Melbourne weekends like the Grand Prix, the footy finals, Cup week and New Year’s Eve. A closer date is still worth asking about.
Absolutely. All of our packages can work for people who don’t drink, because we can always request no alcohol with every supplier. Mixed groups are common too, so the weekend doesn’t need to be built around drinking just because some of the girls will. Tell us about the group when you get in touch.
No. Topless waiters, life drawing and a male revue are there for the groups who want them. They’re one corner of the Melbourne range, not a requirement. A girls weekend should reflect your girls, not somebody else’s idea of what one is supposed to contain.
Yes. Although “classy” and “low-key” can mean very different things. It might mean a bathhouse and dinner. Pottery and cocktails. A winery day. High tea. A beautiful apartment with everyone together. You don’t need to downgrade the celebration to make it low-key. You need to choose the right kind of celebration.
No. We wouldn’t plan your girls trip. We’d be the girls trip. Every package is designed by us as one complete weekend before you ever see it: where you stay, what you do, where you eat and how one part runs into the next. My Ultimate has been bringing the girls together since 2011, and is registered and accredited by IATA under TIDS.
Each package already works as a whole weekend, so you start with something designed to hold together rather than a blank sheet. Most packages also have optional extras you can add, and they’re shown on each package page.
That’s normal, and it’s worth telling us early. Every package shows its minimum, so choose around the girls you’re sure of and let the maybes be a bonus.
No. Some organisers arrive with a complete brief; some know one definite yes and one hard no; others have no idea at all. Tell us what you do know. If you’d rather explore first, start the Melbourne Wishlist and use the ideas to work out what feels most like your girls.
You can absolutely book an apartment, an activity and a restaurant yourself. Those are the visible pieces. A My Ultimate Girls Trip package is designed as one weekend: where you stay, what you do, where you eat and how one part runs into the next are part of the product rather than a collection of separate bookings. As Kelly, 47, put it afterwards: “It felt easy, but clearly quite a lot of thought goes into making something feel easy.”

One last thing
Somewhere in the middle of the weekend, one of the girls turns to you

Tell Us About Your Girls
Let’s get the girls weekend started!
Our team will look at all of the deets, find the packages that match, check availability and come back to you with all of the nitty gritty details: pics, menus, the $ and c, timings, what’s included and the little touches that make it yours.
An actual human from our team, not a bot! As you’d expect, that’s why we ask for your mobile number, so we can get back to you about the girls trip you have asked us about.
When looking at ideas and the packages we can chat through any deets needed to narrow them down: what the girls would love, what they’d hate, the mix of people coming and the date you have in mind. If something you liked won’t work together, we’ll tell you and we will let you know why and how to achieve the vibes you want!
We’ll walk you through the package we recommend, with all of the deets included. That way you get to share it with the group so they see what they would be saying yes to before you decide to book anything. Tweaks and questions from there are normal, subject to availability, because packages do book out on popular weekends. Just a heads up! No point getting the girls excited about a weekend that is already booked out.
