The Tea Has Been Brewing for Months
At first glance, it's all terribly civilised. Delicate teacups, beautiful little treats and everyone sitting rather elegantly around the table. Give it ten minutes, though, and someone's leaning forward with "Right, I have to tell you something..." Suddenly high tea has become the social event of the year. Welcome to Spill The Tea, where the girls have an entire weekend to get through everything that's been happening!
And what a gorgeous place to begin. Your high tea experience takes place in our beautifully styled Brisbane dining room, with velvet seating, glamorous gold details and a table waiting just for you. Settle in with a glass of bubbly before the gorgeous high tea stands arrive, piled with sweet and savoury treats. There's unlimited tea and coffee too, which is rather convenient when nobody's finished their story and another pot is clearly required.
Now, we all know how these conversations go. Someone starts with a little update, which reminds somebody else of something outrageous, and suddenly you're three stories deep with absolutely no intention of stopping. Fortunately, this isn't one of those catch-ups where everyone has to disappear afterwards.
Your next stop is your own chic Brisbane city apartment, and with four hours before dinner, the afternoon is yours. There's time to settle in, relax and enjoy getting ready together without rushing. The conversations continue while outfits are considered, music plays and somebody finally gets around to explaining that story she couldn't possibly tell in public. There's something rather fabulous about having everyone together for the little moments between the big ones.
