Botanical Babes, in Full Bloom
A little creativity, beautiful surroundings and a night out with the girls? Oh, this one's blooming lovely. Botanical Babes brings together a hands-on terrarium workshop, dinner among the greenery and a tropical garden bar where the bubbly flows beneath a giant pink flamingo. Throw in your own chic Brisbane city apartment, and you've got a girls weekend that's equal parts wholesome and fabulous.
First things first, your Brisbane apartment is ready to become the girls' headquarters. Drop the bags, claim your spot and make yourselves at home. There's time to catch up, put on some music and get ready together before heading out for the afternoon. The makeup bags come out, the outfit options multiply and someone inevitably needs a second opinion on what to wear. It's a creative afternoon followed by a gorgeous night out, so naturally, the group is taking both assignments seriously.
Once everyone's ready, it's time to get your hands a little dirty. Your terrarium workshop is waiting, with a private hostess to guide the group through creating your very own miniature gardens. Glass bowls, soil, tiny succulents and all the little details that bring your creations to life are laid out ready for you to get stuck in.
And this is where everyone's personality starts to shine. Some of the girls will have a carefully considered design in mind before they've even touched the soil, while others will discover their artistic vision somewhere between the first plant and the last handful of pebbles. Your next stop is a beautiful Art Deco restaurant where the botanical theme continues, this time with greenery climbing the heritage brickwork and glowing mirrors adding a little old-world glamour. It's a stunning setting for dinner with the girls, and a lovely change of pace after your creative afternoon.
