First, tacos and margaritas over a long lunch, then it's back to your Brisbane apartment for grazing, comfy clothes and absolutely no plans to go back out. And just when you think the snacks couldn't get any better, there's a surprise box of custom cookies waiting for the big reveal. Nobody has to head home early, and the only dress code for the evening is pyjamas!

Out for Tacos, In for the Night
Whoever decided a fabulous girls weekend needed a big night out clearly underestimated the power of comfy pyjamas, delicious food and a living room full of your favourite people. Girls Night In is all about making an occasion out of staying in, with one very important exception: a long Mexican lunch. Who doesn't love tacos and margs, after all?
First stop is a beautiful heritage pub in the heart of Brisbane, where old brickwork, twinkling fairy lights and a fabulous atmosphere set the scene for lunch with the girls. Settle in over delicious tacos, corn chips and refreshing margaritas. There's plenty of time to catch up, enjoy the food and discuss the very important plans for the afternoon. Namely, getting into your pyjamas.
Once lunch wraps up, it's time to head to your own chic Brisbane city apartment. And this is where Girls Night In really comes into its own. Bags down, shoes off, drinks in the fridge and the most comfortable clothes you packed making their highly anticipated debut. Put on your favourite playlist, claim a spot on the couch and make yourselves at home. You've got the whole evening ahead of you, and absolutely nobody needs to get dressed up again.
Of course, no proper girls' night in would be complete without snacks. And we're not talking about a sad packet of crackers discovered at the back of someone's pantry. A delicious grazing platter is delivered straight to your door, with savoury favourites and fresh fruit ready for everyone to enjoy. No shopping, no cooking and certainly no washing up a mountain of serving dishes.
And just when everyone thinks the snack situation has peaked, you've got a little surprise up your sleeve. Out comes a secret box of beautiful custom iced cookies, made especially for the girls and featuring gorgeous designs to celebrate your weekend together. Cue the excitement, everyone choosing their favourite and at least one person declaring hers is too pretty to eat. We'll see how long that lasts!
We've been creating girls weekends at My Ultimate since 2011, and we know that sometimes the most memorable part of a weekend is simply having the time and space to enjoy each other's company.
The rest of the night? That's completely up to you. Maybe it's a movie marathon, a few drinks and a ridiculous amount of laughter. Perhaps someone suggests a game, or you end up chatting for hours without ever pressing play on the television. That's the joy of having your own space together. There's no closing time, no last train and no one announcing they've got to head home.
And when morning comes, the girls are still right there, ready for coffee, breakfast and perhaps a final cookie if anyone had the restraint to save one.
