There's a moment in a painting workshop when everyone gets so absorbed in their canvas that the conversation goes quiet. It never lasts long. Someone needs a second opinion, somebody else has created something brilliant, and suddenly everyone's leaning over to admire each other's handiwork. That's the charm of Soft Life Studio, where a private painting session with your own artist host is just the beginning. Add a leisurely hot grazing lunch, rooftop garden bubbly and a night in chic Sydney city apartment accommodation, and you've got a creative little escape that's as much about the laughs between brushstrokes as the finished paintings.
Begin your morning in our private studio with your artist host guiding you from blank canvas to a keepsake you'll take home. The studio is BYO, so bring along something to sip if you fancy. There's plenty to discuss while the brushes are moving, including whether that accidental streak of colour was a mistake or the best bit of the painting. By the end, everyone's created something that could only have come from them.
From there, head to our cocktail lounge, where a glass of bubbly welcomes you to your reserved table and hot grazing platters are served to share. It's the kind of lunch where one more bite turns into another conversation, perhaps about whose painting is going straight on the wall and whose needs a very strategic spot on a bookshelf.
