With Pottery Over Problems, you make those little reminders yourself. And instead of spending your entire Sydney visit hopping between restaurants, you get an afternoon with your hands in clay, followed by good food, waterfront views and a night in the city.
Your first stop is our private studio, where your host introduces you to polymer clay and shows you how to shape your own pieces. The studio is BYO, so bring along something to sip if you fancy. One minute you're making a perfectly sensible trinket dish; the next you're helping someone decide whether her slightly wonky creation needs fixing at all. By the end, you'll have made up to two keepsakes each to take home. There's something rather satisfying about having an actual answer to what you did this weekend.
After the workshop, check into your chic Sydney city apartment accommodation and find a safe place for the new creations. There are bags to unpack and outfits to choose, but for once everyone has a fresh topic besides where you're eating. Will the handmade earrings get their first outing tonight? They might deserve it.
At our cocktail lounge, a glass of bubbly welcomes you to your reserved table while hot grazing platters arrive for everyone to share.
